Guys,
First, I must say I have many posts as well and have been on this site for several years. I have mostly watched and feel when I can and have the time to contribute I must add what I feel is important to--""Kick the man's ass!!""
So with that in mind here's my two bits::
The Line::
I must say this game looks to be a difficult one to call. I have considered many variables as well as injuries. All I can figure for tonight is the weather is to be a factor. Temperatures are expected to fall into the mid-20s with winds in the 10-15 mile per hour range. The temperature is supposed to be around as low as 34 degrees at kickoff, Favre has a 36-1 home record as a starter with that type climate. He thrives in this weather. Bulger could throw a few interceptions and GB defense should be able to hold the run.. The pass could be a bit scary-( will get to that in my o/u analysis.) Rams have lost 3 out of the last 4 games. The line being 7.5, 7, or even 6.5 (whatever) - is a tough call- To tough to call tonight. However, one has to figure that Farve get's the job done and will win the game.
GB wins the game outright.-- Points very suspect- Be careful!
Now to the total::
Also, as weather can be a factor will it cause the game to be o/u the total??? Man, these things are tough to call with weather conditions. Just look at last night- (Crazy things happen) So, the matchup could favor defense. Not according to last night. Although very different circumstances--Still weather should favor offense here. Neither defense is great.
BUT
We must look at these teams very closely who are playing. GB has been over the total there last three home games-- (If the games total were of what tonights total is around 51. Then look at St. Louis away from home totals:: All there away games have been over the total of tonight's total of 51. This indicates to me a high scoring game. Look at the receivers for St. Louis. They will score on GB without question. GB has weapons even without Green at RB and other injuries Farve will get the ball down the field aginst a suspect Rams defense. Now, look at GB defense. Not great- Especially if their receivers can get down the field and catch the ball. So GB scores and Rams will score and should be a high scoring game.
My prediction:::
I very rarely will choose a 2 team 7 pt. teaser- but, this looks like the true winner here.:
Take GB :: Pick em
GB/Rams:: over 44
Wish the best to all::
Kick the man's ASSSS!!!
